The Hornets would extend there lead to 12-0 a 31-yard interception return Harney just 38 seconds later. The Hornets would extend there lead to 18-0 on a 33-yard touchdown reception by Ben Champagne and take that 18-0 lead into the intermission. The game would stay there till 36 seconds of the fourth quarter when Mitch Senecal would score on the QB sneak to make it 25-0 Hornets. Then in the closing minutes of the game, Jason Moore would score on a 52-yard bomb to secure the 33-0 victory. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars celebrate in the corner as they score the game-winner in overtime. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in section 7 action. The Cougars would take the 1-0 lead at the 8-minute mark of the second period on Kyle Vassar's goal. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Adian Lvalley's goal with four minutes left in the second period. The Eagles would cut the lead in half on Christan Wawrzynski's goal in the final minute of the second period. In the final three minutes of the regulation, Matthew Maggy would get the equalizer to force overtime. In the overtime, the Cougars would get the winner in the final minute from Ian Gordon. It would be the opening game of the Alex Turner Memorial Tournament for both the Clinton County (JR) Mariners and the Champlain Cougars. The game would remain scoreless until the 4th inning when the Mariners would score on error throw first to make it 1-0. The game would stay there til the 6th inning when the Mariners would explode for 4 runs to expand there lead to 5-0. The Cougars wouldn't go quietly though as they would load the bases in the seventh inning and get a run to bust up the shutout. The Cannons would get a run in the top of the first. Although from then on the Mariners would be in complete control. The Mariners would get two runs in the bottom of the inning to make it 2-1. The Mariners would add another two runs in the second to extend the lead to 4-1. In the fourth inning is when they would take complete control as they would score 4 runs to make it an 8-1 game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oneonta State Red Dragons in SUNYAC conference play. The Red Dragons would take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Cardinals would come back in the bottom of the inning with a pair of runs helped by an RBI double by Billy Romatabus to make 2-1. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on an RBI single by Frank Finkbeiner. The Red Dragons would add a run in the third to make it 3-2. Then in the sixth the Red Dragons would add three runs and take a 5-3 lead. That would end the scoring on the day and the Cardinals would fall 5-3 and drop to 4-26 on the season. At the bottom of the fifth, the Cardinals would keep it close getting two runs to make it 6-4. In the sixth, the Panthers would score one to make it 7-4. At the bottom of the sixth, the Cardinals would score five to make it 9-7 Cardinals. The game would stay there till the ninth when the Panthers would get two runs. In the bottom of the ninth, the Cardinals would get the game-winning run on error pick off attempt at first and the runner would score from second to secure the 10-9 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host arch-rival conference foe the Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC play. The Lakers would take the 1-0 lead in the second inning. Although the Cardinals would come back in the bottom of the third inning and put up a 6 spot to take a 6-1 lead. Although it would be the downhill from there for the Cardinals as the Lakers would outscore them 15-0 over the remaining 6 innings as the Cardinals would fall 16-6 and fall to 3-20 on the season, Although leading the way for the Cardinals would be TJ Montalbano as he would go 2-5 with an RBI. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the St Lawrence Saints in Non-Conference action in the middle of a snowstorm. The Cardinals and Saints would be deadlocked after the 1st quarter tied at three and getting goals for the Cardinals would be Ryan Hubbard, Mitchell Labianca, and Brendan Damm. In the second quarter, the Saints would start to take command of the game outscoring the Cardinals 5-0 to take at 8-3 lead at intermission. The Saints would win the third quarter 2-1 to have a 10-4 lead the lone Cardinals goal would be Ryan Hubbard's second goal of the night. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would try to do there best but it would be too little too late as they would outscore the Saints 3-1 with goals coming from Mike Gay, Patrick Nash and Brendan Damm second of the night to make the final score 11-7. The Cardinals would have a 3-2 lead after the first quarter with goals from Brendan Damm (2) and Matt Prokescch. In the second quarter, the Engineers would outscore the Cardinals 4-1 and take a 6-4 lead into the break getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Ryan Callahan. When the teams would return for the second half the Engineers would win the third quarter 3-1 and have a 9-5 lead the Cardinals goal would come from Joey Kromer. In the fourth quarter, there would only be one goal scored by the Cardinals Patrick Nash.
