The Sandstoners would strike again the 35th minute on Dillon's goal to make it 3-0. That is where the score would remain until the 74th minute when Potsdam Rishe would score to make it 4-0. The Huskies would draw first blood on Connor Dailey's header off the corner kick in the 17th minute. That is where the game would remain until Christopher Stoner would tie the game up in the 47th minute on the breakaway. Then in the 52nd minute, Nnaebaka Ononye would get the game-winner. Then Ononye would score in the 78th-minute ice the game and give the Sandstoners the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort Ryan McDonald would have 5 saves and Austin Lamay would stop nine. The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery
