It would be the Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the Au Sable Valley Patriots in C.V.A.C. action. This would be a game that would not be in doubt from the beginning as the Hornets would score 6 first-half goals from Nick Provost, Henry Wylie along with a couple of others. In the second half, it would be more of the same as the Hornets would add three more goals coming from Abdousabour Tidjami, and Andrew Follmer. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Soccer Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 18th 2017
Plattsburgh's Hannah Glicksman (2) shields the ball from Beekmantown's Danielle Dyke along the sidelines.It would be C.V.A.C. Girls Soccer action as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would opeming up the scoring in the 25th minute on Alyssa Waters goal. Then in the 36th minutes the Eagles would strike again on Danielle Dyke goal to extend the lead to 2-0 headed into the break. When the teams came back to play the Eagles would pick up where they left off as Alyssa Waters would strike again in the 51st minute to extend the lead to 3-0. The Eagles would get another to extend the lead to 4-0 on the Leah Casey goal in the 72nd minute. Then in the last minute of the game the Eagles would put it away on the Kirsten Villemaire goal to secure the 5-0 win. In the winning effort the Eagles would stay undefeated at 7-0.

Plattsburgh's Madeleine Woodward (19) and Beekmantown's Rylee Fessette (7) battle for ball control in the corner of the Hornets zone. It would be C.V.A.C. Girls Soccer action as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would opening up the scoring in the 25th minute on Alyssa Waters goal. Plattsburgh's Meghan Sullivan (17) drags the ball around the Northeastern Clinton player and gains position. It would be a CVAC regular season match between the Plattsburgh Hornets and Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The Cougars would take the early 1-0 lead in the first half. The game would remain there til there were four minutes remaining in the game and the Hornets would tie the game at 1. The team would then head to overtime where the Hornets would take the 2-1 lead 6 minutes in. Although they would have to finish the period and the Cougars would score inside the final minute and then the game would end in a 2-2 tie.

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 2 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Moriah Vikings September 8th 2017
Plattsburgh's Ian Detulleo (2) with the pass break up along the farside long. It would be the start of week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season as we have the Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the Moriah Vikings in League action. The Vikings would get the first score of the game in the 1st quarter a run by Connor Anderson for the 8-0 lead. In the second quarter the Vikings would extend there lead to 16-0 on Connor Anderson's second touchdown run of the day at 4:38of the quarter. The game would stay there til the 7:26 mark of the third quarter when Jay Sargent would take it 22 yards for the score and make it 24-0. In the fourth quarter, the Hornets would get on the board on a 20-yard touchdown pass to Talon Bushey at the 8:10 mark to make it 24-8. Although the Vikings would answer right back a short run to secure the 31-8 victory. In the winning effort, the Vikings improve to 2-0 as they head home for Beekmantown next week. While the Hornets fall to 0-2 and will host the Saranac Chiefs next week. Gallery
