The Oswego State Lakers would take a slim 39-37 lead into the intermission. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and the Lakers would win the half 42-37. It would give the #4 Oswego State Lakers the upset victory over the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals. In the losing effort, Kyle Richardson would lead the way with 25 points. As it would set up the Cortland State Red Dragons and the Oswego State Lakers in the SUNYAC finals and leaving the Plattsburgh State Cardinals to leave their faith in the hands of the committee if they are to go the NCAA Tournament.
