The game would remain there throughout as that would be the loan goal of the game. The Camels goalie Andy Gobbo would make 37 saves four the shutout. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs St. Anselm Hawks - January 5th 2019

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celebrate as they are crowned the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic champions. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the St. Anselm Hawks in the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic Championship in front of 1400 people. The Cardinals would strike first and fast as Pat Egan would score just 55 seconds into the game for the 1-0 lead. The Hawks would fight back and tie the game at one with a first period goal at 14:00 with the Mike Ferraro goal. That would be all the scoring on the night through regulation and overtime and the game would finish tied at 1. Although because of the tournament the teams went to a shootout and in the fourth round Pat Egan would send the home folks home happy with the game winner. St. Anslem's Colin Soucy (29) with the glove save on the high shot to keep his team in the lead as part of 30 plus save night. The St. Anslem Hawks and the Manhattanville Valiants would face off in the semi-finals on the W.B. Mason Winter Classic. The Valiants would draw first blood with a goal at 1:19 from Matt Lippa for the 1-0 lead in the first period. The Hawks would come back and tie the game at 10:47 of the first period on the Dave Almendia goal. The Valiants would regain the 1 goal lead with 13 seconds left in the first period on the Matt Lippa second goal of the night. When the teams came back for the second period Matt Lippa would finish of the hat trick with the goal at 4:30 of the period. The Hawks would cut the lead in half with the goal by Bryan Green at 17:04 of the second period at 3-2. The Hawks would tie the game up at 3 as Sean Verrier scores in the final minute of the period. When the teams came back for the third period the Hawks would score twice in the first 6:30 of the period for the 5-3 lead. Then with 4:30 left in the game the Valiants Eric Berglund would score on the shorthand to make it a 5-4 game. Although the Hawks would ice the game away with the empty netter for the 6-4 victory. In the winning effort the St. Anslem Hawks would advance to the Championship of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic against the Plattsburgh State Cardinals. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Mike Falanga (10) puts the puck to the top shelf over the outstretched goalie for the goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Connecticut College Camels in front of 1400 fans in the W.B. Mason Winter Classic Semi-Finals. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game from Mike Falanga at 15:37 of the first period for the 1-0 lead. Then over the next over the next 1:45 the Cardinals would add two more goals from Charles Barber and Jesse Neher and the Camels would add one as we well to make it a 3-1 game. Thats where the game would stay til the 4:13 mark of the second period when Ryan Kuhn would score to make it 4-1. Then at the 11:21 mark of the period Ryan Kuhn would score on the powerplay to make it a 5-1 game. The Camels would strike back two minutes later with a goal of there to make it 5-2. Although that would be all the scoring on the night as the teams went scoreless in third period and the Cardinals get the 5-2 victory. With the win the Cardinals advance to the finals of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic and will face the St. Anslem Hawks for the title. Gallery.

The Adirondack Thunder would host the Manchester Monarchs in the East Coast Hockey League in front of 3400 people. The game would remain scoreless until 57 seconds into the second period when Thompson would score for the Thunder to take the 1-0 lead. The Thunder would extend the lead to 2-0 on Salhany last-second goal. The Thunder would extend there lead to 3-0 on Bradshaw's goal at the 7:27 mark of the third period. The Monarchs would do there best to get back in the game with two late third period goals to make it 3-2. Although it would not be enough as the Thunder would hold on for the 3-2 victory. Manchester Monarchs @ Adirondack Thunder - December 28th 2019

Adirondack's Kelly Summers (27) takes it down on the breakaway and puts over the shoulder for the goal. The Adirondack Thunder would host the Manchester Monarchs in East Coast Hockey League. The Adirondack Thunder would get the opening goal of the game from Mike Szmatula goal at 7:35 of the first period. The game would stay there till the 12 minute mark of the second period when Kevin Lough would score to make it 2-0 lead. Then early on in the third period the Thunder would extend there lead to 3-0 on the Kelly Summers goal, Although the Monarchs would not go quietly as they add two goals during the period and make it a 3-2 game. The Thunder would put the icing on the cake late in the game when Conor Riley would score and get the 4-2 victory. Plattsburgh State's Daniil Ovchinnikov (13) cuts in front of the net going for the goal but comes up short. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action. The game would remain scoreless until the seven minute mark of the second period and Fredonia would take the 1-0 lead. The Blue Devils would extend there lead 2-0 on a power play goal in the fourteenth minute of the second period. Then with just over a minute left in the second period the Cardinals would cut the lead in half at 2-1 on Liam Lawson goal. Then with under six and half minutes left in the game the Cardinals would tie the game at two on the Andrew Pizzio goal. The with under a minute left in the game the Blue Devils would get the game winner and the Cardinals would fall 3-2. The game would be very close at the start the Cardinals would have a slim 1-0 lead after the first period on Matt Araujo goal. In the second period the Cardinals would expand there lead to 4-0 with goals from Charles Barber, Cam Owens and Andrew Pizzo. In the third period the Cardinals would put the game away with three more goals from Rich McCartney, Christian Difelice and Cory Stallard and secure the 7-0 victory. The game would be tight from the start. The opening goal of the game would come at the 8:06 mark of the second period and the Golden Eagles would take the 1-0 lead of the second period. The Cardinals would fight back and tie the game at the 13:15 mark of the second period on Ryan Kuhn goal. That would be all the scoring in the game and it would finish in a 1-1 tie. It would be the home opener for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals as they would face #2 and conference foe Geneseo State to get the season started. The Cardinals would draw first blood on a goal by Cam Owens at 11:32 of the first period for the 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 at 5:18 of the second period on a Pat Egan power-play goal. The Cardinals would go up 3-0 a Cole Stallard goal at 15:04 of the third period. Although the Knights would not go away as they would get two goals in a thirty-second span with 3:15 to remaining. Although the Cardinals would have enough to hold on for the 3-2 victory.
