Peabody's Shane Perrotte (2) slaps the tag on Jefford's Steel base runner looking for the steal of third. The Peabody Padres would play Jeffords Steel in nonleague action at South Acres. Jefford's would jump out quick scoring two runs in the first and second innings for the 4-0 lead. The Padres would get on the board with a single run in the third to make it 4-1. The Padres would claw there way back into the game with a three-run fifth to tie the score at four. The Padres would take the 6-4 lead in the sixth on a pair of runs.
