Plattsburgh North Stars Earl Parks (#33) with the leg wrap tackles behind the line to stop Vermont Ice Storm's (#3) before he started. The Plattsburgh North Stars would use late 4th quarter heroic's to get the 21-20 win over the Vermont Ice Storm in clinching there first regular-season title in franchise history. The North Stars would jump to an early 7-0 lead on Trevor St. Clair. Then the Ice Storm would respond with touchdowns of their own to take the 14-7 lead. Then late in the third quarter, Kenny Stay would hit Trevor St. Clair again for his second touchdown on the night to tie the game at 14. Then late in the 4th quarter, the Ice Storm would get go-ahead touchdown although the North Stars would block the extra point to keep the lead at 20-14. The on issuing drive Kenny Stay would hit Jordan Keleher for a 33-yard touchdown and would make the point to give the North Stars a 21-20 victory and clinch the regular-season title and home advantage in the playoffs. In a rematch of last year's Empire Football League Championship, the Plattsburgh North Stars would gain there revenge over the Watertown Red & Black with a convincing 21-7 victory. With the win, the North Stars are now in a three-way tie atop the league with Watertown and Vermont. The North Stars would show that they meant busy from the beginning when Kenny Stay and Trevor St. Clair connected on a touchdown pass on the opening driving. Then as the half was nearing the end Kenny Stay would connect with Jordan Keleher for a second touchdown pass. The North Stars would add another one late. Then Red & Black would get their lone touchdown with 1:30 left in the game. The North Stars will look to ride this momentum into there game next weekend on the road against the New York Stallions in Hartwick. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Shane Racette (39) with the strong one leg tackle in the open to bring the Vermont Ice Storm ball carrier. It wouldn't be enough though as the North Stars suffer there first loss of the season by a score of 20-10. The first half of the game would be a defensive game as the North Stars would cling to a 3-0 at the break. In the second half is where most of the scoring would come though the Ice Storm would take a 6-3 lead on the touchdown. The North Stars would answer right back though with a touchdown pass to take a 10-6. In the end, though the Ice Storm would be too much on this day as they would get two late 4th quarter touchdowns to secure the 20-10 win. The Plattsburgh North Stars will fall to 4-1 as they head into there bye week and the Ice Storm would improve to 4-1 into a tie for second place. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Kevin Gibson (53) takes down the Broome County Dragon running back with the shoulder-high tackle. The North Stars would get the 17-0 win over the Broome County Dragons. The game would remain scoreless until 4 minutes into the second quarter when Elisa Parks ran it in. Then just four minutes later the North Stars would add another rushing touchdown on Michael Jenkins 14 yard scamper. Then in the third quarter, Mitch Ryder would end the scoring on a 28-yard field goal. With the win, the North Stars improve 3-0, 2-0 in the EFL as they will host the newest member to the Empire Football League New York Stallions on July 24th at Plattsburgh High. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Donny Coolidge (11) & Shane Racette (38) break up the pass and Shane Racette ends up with the interception. The Plattsburgh would off their season in Massena against the Sliver & Black with a giddy 27-21 win. The North Stars would get on the board first on a touchdown pass to Chris Fish for the 7-0 lead. Then on the next Massena Donny Coolidge would intercept the pass for a pick 6 and take a 13-0 lead after the first. In the second quarter JD Moore would complete his second touchdown pass of the night this time to Trevor St. Clair. The Silver & Black would get on the board as the half ended on a deep touchdown pass to give the North Stars a 21-7 lead at the break. In the 3rd quarter, Mervin Jenkins would score on a rushing touchdown. Then in the 4th quarter, the North Stars would have to hold on for the victory as turnovers would lead to, two Silver & Black touchdowns. With the win, the North Stars are 1-0 as they head home to host the Broome County Dragons on July 17th. Gallery
