Malone's Brandon Mulverhill (42) slides in safe at second base with the double. The Malone Post 219 would fall to the Hudson Valley Renegades 6-4 in the opening game of the Mehan/Turner Tournament. The Renegades would take the 1-0 lead in the first and then in second Malone would tie it up at 1. The game would remain there until the Renegades would get four in the fifth to take the 5-1 lead. Malone would answer back with two in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-3. Then in the sixth the teams would trade runs to make it 6-4.
