Potsdam's Owen Ames (18) with the hard hit on Beekmantown's Pryce Parker (44) that folds him over the opponent's bench. It would be a nonsectional matchup in NYSPHSAA Boy's Hockey action as the #10 Beekmantown Eagles would host the Potsdam Sandstoners at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the game just 36 seconds into the game on the Edward Sweenor goal. From there they would be off to the races as they would add five more goals in the period with Novak Jarus (twice), Pryce Parker, Caden Columbus, and Zach Lapier. The Sandstoners would be able to light the lamp once with a goal by Ryan Charlebois as the period would end with the Eagles leading 6-1. In the second period, the Eagles would stay hot as they added another three goals as Zach Lapier (the second of the night), Novak Jarus (the second of the night), and Sam Bingel would score as the Eagles took the 9-1 lead. In the third period, the teams would be going through the motions as the outcome was a long time ago determined and the Sandstoners would win the period 3-2 but the Eagles would hold on for the 11-4 win Eagles go to 12-2 and the Sandstoners fall to 2-11 on the season.
