In the second quarter, the Beaver's offense would come alive for a huge quarter at 13-4 and take a 17-10 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Knights would have some fight in them and win the quarter 11-2 and retake the lead at 21-19. In the fourth quarter, the Beaver's defense would completely shut down the Knights with a 13-0 quarter and get the come from behind win at 32-21. It would be a low-scoring game to get going as the Knights would have an 8-2 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Knights would start to find their stride as they would have a 12-2 quarter and expand their lead to 20-4 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Knights would stay hot with a 13-2 quarter and have a 33-6 lead as they headed to the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Knights would back it down with the game outcome already determined with a 4-2 quarter and secure the 37-8 win.
