It would be a section vii baseball matchup between the Champlain Valley and Mountain Valley Conference foes as the Peru Nighthawks would host the Chazy Eagles. The game would start off good for the home Nighthawks as they would get a pair of runs in each of the first two innings for the 4-0 lead. In the fourth inning, the Nighthawks would break the game wide open as they would explode for a 12-run inning and take a 16-0 lead. Then in each of the last two innings, they would get two more runs each while the Eagles would avoid the shutout with a single run in the seventh inning as the Knighthawks would get the 20-1 victory. In the winning effort, Nighthawks Ryan Maggys would lead the way with a pair of hits and a 5 rbi game. In the winning effort, the Nighthawks go to 5-1 on the season. Gallery

Peru's Wyatt Premore (9) deliveries the strike for the strikeout as part of a three-strike-out performance. It would be a section vii baseball matchup between the Champlain Valley and Mountain Valley Conference foes as the Peru Nighthawks would host the Chazy Eagles. It would be a low-scoring game to get going as the Knights would have an 8-2 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Knights would start to find their stride as they would have a 12-2 quarter and expand their lead to 20-4 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Knights would stay hot with a 13-2 quarter and have a 33-6 lead as they headed to the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Knights would back it down with the game outcome already determined with a 4-2 quarter and secure the 37-8 win. In the winning effort, Madyson Whalen would lead the way with ten points as the Knights go to 3-4 on the season while the Eagles fall to 2-6. Gallery

It would be an inter-conference matchup as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Chazy Eagles in girls basketball action. The game would start off great for the home Hornets with a 23-8 first quarter. In the second quarter, the Eagles would start to find traction as the Hornets would have an 11-8 but the Hornets would take a 34-16 lead into the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Hornets would keep the foot on the gas and have a 14-9 third and take a 48-25 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Hornets would just be too much as they would but the game away with 16-3 quarter and get the 64-28. In the winning effort, the Hornets would get their first win of the season and rise their mark to 1-2 while Chazy Eagles fall to 1-3 on the season. Gallery.

Chazy's Celine Juneau (3) with the open net goal as the goalie was out of position. It would second game of a championship doubleheader in Chazy this time it would be girls soccer as the host Chazy Eagles would look to defend their Section VII Class D Championship against the Moriah Vikings. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the game in the 14th minute from Celine Junneau to take the 1-0 lead. The game would remain there for the rest of the first half but just two minutes into the second half the Eagles would extend there lead to 2-0 on the Ava McAuliffe goal. Then in the 51st minute, the Eagles would take command of the game at 3-0 on Celine Juneau second goal of the afternoon. Then in the 59th minute, the Eagles would put the icing on the cake with the Olivia McLennan goal at 4-0. In the 73rd minute through the Vikings would get on the board with the Mikenna Valentine goal for a 4-1 game. In the winning effort, the Chazy Eagles would defend their Section VII Class D Championship. Gallery

Section VII Class D Boy's Soccer Championship Boquet Valley Griffins @ Chazy Eagles November 14th 2020

Boquet Valley's Brandon Tromblee (goalie) comes up and makes the running save on the Eagles shot. It would be a familiar place for the Chazy Eagles as they would be back in the Section VII Class D Championship only thing different would be their opennet as they would host the Boquet Valley Griffins for the title. The Eagles would play their game and get the opening goal of the game in the 26th minute from Tanners Conners to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the 32nd minute of the game, the Eagles would expand on their lead at 2-0 with the Riley Hansen goal. Then in the 39th minute, Riley Hansen would strike again to make it 3-0. In the second half of the game, the Griffins would step up their defense and hold them off the scoring sheet although the Griffins had no answer. As the Eagles would hold on for the 3-0 victory and secure the 2020 Section VII Class D Boy's Championship unfortunately with the COVID-19 Pandemic going on this would be the end of their season. It would be a familiar place for the Chazy Eagles as they would be back in the Section VII Class D Championship only thing different would be their opennet as they would host the Boquet Valley Griffins for the title. The Eagles would play their game and get the opening goal of the game in the 26th minute from Tanners Conners to take the 1-0 lead.
