Travis Stokes (63) would come into the corner a little hot and get under the Jason McCalthcie (70) and send him around during the heats. It would be the third night of racing at Airborne Speedway of the season and it would be Law Enforcement Night presented by Riley Ford with the Sportsman Modifieds, Renegades, and 4 Cylinders in action. The car count might have been a little down on with the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified Series race at Bear Ridge but that wouldn't change the excitement on the track. Before opening ceremonies the Sportsman Modified would come out for time trials and Robert Deloremier would pick up fast time of the night and a cool 125 dollars. Then it would be onto the heat races from the night and first out of the box would be the Renegades for two and wins would go to Tylor Terry and Richie. Then we would have the Sportsman Modified and the wins would go to fan favorites Lonnie Rivers and Jamy Begor and then to finish off the heats it would be the four cylinders for two heats and the wins would go to JJ Laporte and Mat Parker. Then it would be onto the main events of the evening and the first one up would be the Renegades. After a few early cautions for spins, they would clean it up and have a great last 12 laps of racing as Zack Daniels and Nathaniel Guay would be on it for the win and with minimal contact would cross the line together and Guay would get the win. Then it would be onto the Taylor Rental four cylinders and there would be 19 cars that would start the 15 laps main after the carnage would settle only ten would finish. The win would go to first-time winner Greg Zinder Jr, or Bill Doner as he was chasing him down and just ran out of laps. Then there was just one race left on the night the Sportsman Modified 25 lap main event and it would get off to a scary start on the lap as Casey Swamp's car would catch fire on lap 1 but would get to the infield and get it out and the driver would be ok. Then with 4 laps to go there would be a restart after a multicar crash in turn three that would take out Beau Reeves and Chris Cayea. On the restart, it would be teammates Travis Bruno and Lonnie Rivers and they would duel it out and the win would go to defending track champion Travis Bruno with Tanner Forbes rounding out the top three. The racing at Airborne Speedway will return to the track next weekend May 21st with all the regular divisions back in action. Gallery

Then we would have the Novice Sportsman Modified and the old man Dale Gonyo would get the win. Then it would be the return of the Dirtcar Pro Stocks with two heats on the night and Zack Daniels and Kevin Featherley would get the wins. Then with nearly 30 Sportsman Modified in the pits, there would be four heats needed on the night and the winners would be Greg Snyder, DJ Gonyo, Shane Pecore, and Cedric Gouvreau. Then we would have two heats of the mighty 358 Modifieds and the winners would be Brian MacDonald and Chris Rabbe along with a big roll by Todd Stone that would completely destroy the car. Then it would be time to head to the mains for the night and first out of the box would be the Bandits and the eventual winner would be Sharlow. Then it would be onto the Mod Lites for 15 laps and after Jason Premo had his big taken from him on late caution flag he and Tristain Dibble would battle down to wire and Dibble would get the win. Then it would be the Novice Sportsman Modified for 15 laps and it would see Cameron Reif getting the win over last year's champion Pyror Stacey for the checkered. Then we would have the Dirtcar Pro Stocks four 15 laps the race would have to halt for a bit as they would have one get on its roof. After the restart, you would see a battle for the ages upfront between Kevin Featherly and Bruno Richard and with Featherley making one mistake in the closing laps Richard would capitalize for the win. Then it would be onto the Crossroad Tobacco Sportsman Modified main for 25 laps with 30 cars starting. There would be a few early race cautions that would keep the racing tight at the beginning. Once the cautions went away so would Shane Pecore and get the win in his return to the Mohawk International Raceway. Then it would be the main event of the evening with the 358 Modifieds for 30 laps and with Chris Rabbe starting on the pole the question was would anyone be able to track him down and the answer would be no although it would not be without a valiant effort from Carey Terrance. The racing will return to the track again next Friday, May 20th with all six divisions back in action again. Gallery
