Salmon River's Jarred Jackson (25) with the diving save to cover up the puck and force the face-off. It would be a non-conference matchup as the Salmon River Shamrocks would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the #9 Beekmantown Eagles. The Shamrocks would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead on Bryton Burns goal at 2 minutes of the first period. The Eagles would come back and tie the game at one on Kade Collins goal. The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead on Christin Wawrzynski goal at 13:30 of the first period. The game would remain there til 13:10 of the second period when the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-1 on Michael Parent's goal. The Shamrocks would cut the lead to 3-2 on Otto Thomas's powerplay goal at 8:43 of the third period. The Eagles would regain the two-goal lead on Hayden King's goal at 9:03 of the third. Then in the final two minutes, the Eagles would score with Matthew Maggy to secure the 5-2 victory. Gallery

Northeastern Clinton Cougars Vs Malone Huskies January 15th 2016

Northeastern Clinton's (6) with the hard body check on the Malone defender along the boards to gain control of the puck. It would be a non-league affair between the Malone Huskies and the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The Cougars would strike first at the 8:50 mark of the first period on Gonyo's goal. The game would stay there till 9:03 mark of the second when Gonyo would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 3-0 on Dupee's goal late in the second period. The Huskies would get on the board at the 51-second mark of the third period to make it 3-1 on the power play. Then at 5:10 mark of the period, Benware would strike again to make it a 3-2 game. The Huskies would fight the rest of the game but their efforts would come shortly as the Cougars get the 3-2 win. In the winning effort, the Cougars goalies would combine for 24 saves as the Cougars go to 6-6 on the season. Gallery
