In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Eagles did their best to keep the shutout and have an impressive 16-2 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter from the break they would bring their offensive's as the Eagles would win the quarter and take a 28-12 lead into the fourth and final quarter.
