The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Utica Pioneers in the ECAC-West Semi-finals at Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The game would remain scoreless until the 11:09 mark of the first when Alyssa Parke would light the lamp on the power-play to make it 1-0 Cardinals. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 just over two minutes later on Bridget Bailsey's goal. Then with just 21 seconds left in the first the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on Shannon Stewarts goal. The game would stay there till 1:50 of the third period when Morgan MacInnis would score to make it 4-0 Cardinals. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 5-0 on Tyne Grove's goal at 6:03. The Cardinals would put the final touches on it just over a minute later on Jordan Caldwell's goal to make it 6-0. The Pioneers would avoid the shutout with just under three minutes left on Mackenzie Roy's goal.
