The Saranac Lake Red Storm pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2016 Section VII Class C Champions. In the Section VII Class C Championship it would be a battle of the Saranac's as the Saranac Lake Red Storm would battle with the Saranac Chiefs. The Red Storm would jump out to the 13-0 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Chiefs would score on an Issac Garman touchdown to make it 13-7 at the intermission. In the third quarter the Red Storm would regain the 12 point lead at 19-7. In the fourth quarter, the Chiefs would not go quietly as they would start off with a safety to make it 19-9. Then they score with about 4 minutes left on a Sean Ahern touchdown to make it 19-16. That is where the game would finish as the Saranac Lake Red Storm secure the victory and advance to the New York State Playoffs and will play the Ogdensburg Blue Devils. Gallery.
