John Schneider (Bo Duke) and Karl Frederick of Speedway Illustrated joke before there match race with a pair of Renegades cars. It would be round thirteen of the season at the Airborne Speedway and it would be Bo Duke Night at the track presented by Moore Trucks. The four weekly divisions would all be in action with the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified, Hartson Total Opening Renegades, and Taylor Rentals 4 Cylinders but before the racing action got under way there would be a grudge match to settle between John Schneider "Bo Duke" and Karl Frederick with a seven lap race that would see Bo Duke take the win even with Frederick taking some shortcuts on the track and would end with Bo Duke getting chased by the local sheriff. After the excitement of Bo Duke it would be onto the racing card for the evening. First out of the box would be a heat race for the the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified with the wins going to Beau Reeves, Jonathan Toohill, and Matt Leonard. Then up would be the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified with the heat win going to Pryor Stacey. Then it would be Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders with there three heat races and the wins would go to Chuck Mooney, Josh Blake and Greg Zindler. Then we would finish off the heat race portion of the night with two heats for the Hartson Total Opening Renegades and wins going to Rick Frenyea and Josh Terry. Then it would be on to the mains of the night and it would start with the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified and would see Pryor Stacey get another run away inside the division as the 15 lap race would go green to checker caution free. Then up would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified with three 25 lap race and would see Jonathan Toohill start on the front row and take the lead for most of the night as he would be going for his career win inside of the division. Although with five laps to go he would see his lead go away as Matt Leonard would sneak under for take the win for his second win on the season Toohill would hold on for second as Chris Cayea would round out the top three on the night. Then next up would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders for there 15 lap main and would see Chuck Mooney get the early lead from the pole. Although the lead would short lived as Josh Blake would get around him for the early race lead. He would keep the lead until there was a late race restart and it would see Kenny Tourville get around him for his first win of the season. Then it would be the final race of the night with the Hartson Total Opening Renegades in a 25 lap race and would see a great duel between Josh Terry and Tyler Irwin as they were the class of the field and it would see Tyler Irwin getting to the finish line first for his first win of the season. The Airborne Speedway will be taking next week off as the county fair is in town but will be back on August 6th in a big way as it would be the big block/small block Modified Challenge. Gallery

Mike Wright (78) and Joey Scarbrough (11vt) battle for the lead in the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified A Main as they both were going for their first win of the season at the Airborne Speedway. It would be the 12th race of the season at the Airborne Speedway as it would be Make A Wish Presented by Liquor and Wine Warehouse and the drivers and fans would raise thousands of dollars for the local make a wish. Once the racing would get underway the Hartson Total Opening Renegades would start with their first two heats and the wins would go to Richie Turner and Tylor Terry. Then next would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their three heats and getting the wins would be Roger Leberche, Chris Cayea, and Mike Wright. Then to finish off the heats on the night would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders with their three heats and the winners would be Jason Bradley, Nathan Smart, and Josh LaPorte. The track would have a brief intermission before the mains so that they would work on the track along with having the drivers go into the stands and pass the helmet for donations to the local make a wish foundation. Once the racing goes back on track the first main on tap for the night would be the Hartson Total Opening Renegades for their 25 lappers. It would see a great battle up front between Jim McKerrien and Richie Turner over the last ten laps of the race and when the checkers feel Richie Turner would have his second straight win over Jim McKerrien and Billy Thwaits would round out the top three. Then it would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event. Michael Wright would get off to the early race lead over Roger Leberche. Although he would be challenged early by Chris Cayea who would come up from his 6th place start and they would swap the lead a few times. Although another racer would throw his name in the mix and that would be Joey Scarbrough as he would come up from the 9th place and take the lead and hold on for his first win of the season. Then it would be the last race of the night and it would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders in their 15-lap affair. It would see Jason Bradley get off to an early race lead. However, there would be midrace caution that would tighten the field back up and put race favorites Jake Fountain and Nathan Smart on his back bumper. Once the race resumed there would be a three-way battle for a few laps and then Nick Harnden would stick his way in there and make 4 cars. They would do away Bradley and it would leave it to Fountain Smart and Harden to go for the win and it would see Fountain edge out Smart for the win at the line. Although Jake Fountain and Nate Smart would both fail the post-race inspection and Nick Harden would end up getting the win. Richie Turner (17) and Rick Frenyea (07) battle for the early lead in lead in the Hartson Total Opening Renegades main. It would be around 11 racing at the Airborne Speedway and the 4's are wild Street Stock 44 lapper presented by Rustic Auto Body. The racing would start off with a thrill in the first race of the night as the Renegades would take to the track for heat 1 and Josh Terry would give new mining to the name Airborne as he would hook a root and be up in the air and flip three teams before the car came rest destroying the car after the clean up the heat win would go to Jason McClatchie and heat two would go to Codey Agoney. Then it would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their three heats and the winners would be Jake Scarbrough, Mark Fewster, and Bucko Branham. Then next up would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders for their three heat night and the winners on the night would be Nate Smart, Greg Zindler, and Kenny Tourville. Then to finish out the heats would be the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified and heat and the winner would be Pryor Stacey, Then after the intermission and track prep it would be onto the mains for the night and the first one of the night would be the Hartson Total Opening Renegades for there 25 laps main the early leader would be Codey Agoney but that would be not without Tylor Terry and Jason Bogett breathing down his neck. Eventually, Tylor Terry would get the lead but he would have to deal with the charging Richie Turner and the two of them would change the lead back and forth until the end when Richie Turner would get his second win of the season over Jason Boggett and Matt Cornell. Then next up would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap race and it would see Matt Leonard and Bucko Branham starting on the front row. Bucko would take the early lead but he wouldn't have it easy Jake Scarbrough would charge from the back for second and even challenge for the lead at one point and rounding out the top three would be Jamy Begor. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening with the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders 44 lapper 444 to win. The race would start off well with Jason Bradley leading the first half of the race. After the halftime intermission, it would be a completely different race as the cream would rise to the top and it would be a battle between the Laporte's Fountain and Zindler for the win. When the dust settled Greg Zindler would get win three of the season by two feet over Jake Fountain. Then to finish off the night it would be the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified and the Pryor Stacey show as he would walk away with the victory. All four divisions will be in action next week as it will be Make a Wish Night Presented by the Liquor and Wine Warehouse. Gallery

Josh Blake (76) goes for a ride through turn 1 and rolls the car three times fast after he and Greg Zindler (46) would get together going for the lead in the last lap of Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders. It would be the tenth night of racing at the Airborne Speedway as it would be the fourth of July Spectular Presented by Huntley Trucking. There would be more than fireworks in the sky with all the action on the track throughout. The night would get started off with the Sportsman Modified heat races with wins going to Beau Reeves, Bentley Gray, and Bucko Branham. Next up would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders for their three heat races and the winners would be Kenny Tourville, Mat LaValley, and Nick Harnden. Then the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified would have their one heat and Dale Gonyo would get the win. Then to finish of the heats would be the Hartson Total Opening Renegades for their two heats and the wins would be Tylor Terry and Jim Mickerren. Then it would be onto the main events for the night with the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified A-Main and it would start rough and tumble as they would go three-wide into turn 1 on the first lap and a 12-car pile-up would insure. Once the carriage was picked up it would be a showcase up front between the professor and student as Bucko Branham and Travis Bruno battle for the win and when the dust settled Travis Bruno would get win three of the season. Then it would be onto intermission and what most of the crowd was looking forward to the fireworks. Once the show was done it would be the Taylor Rental 4 Cylinders for 15 laps and it would be a heated race throughout with one lap to go Greg Zindler and Josh Blake would get together going for the win and would see Blake flip three and Zindler sent to the pits early by race control. There would be a one-lap shootout to settle it and the win would go to Josh Laporte for his second win of the season. Then it would be the Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman Modified for their 15-lap event and would see Xavier Deloremier get the win in a cuation-free event. Then the night would come to end with the Hartson Total Opening Renegades 25-lap main event. It would be a battle up front most of the night between the Terry brothers with the win going to Tylor Terry for the first win of the season. Gallery
