It would be a great start for the Malone Huskies as they roll out to a 15-4 lead after the first quarter with some great pressure defense. The teams would be a little more evenly matched in the second quarter as the Eagles would find their offense. It would be an 18-16 quarter for the Huskies, and they would take the 33-20 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter, both offenses would stay hot, and it would be a 24-21 quarter for the Eagles, but the Huskies would hold onto the lead at 54-44 lead. When the fourth quarter would start, the Huskie offense would go to sleep as the Eagles would step up their defense, and they would have a 15-6 quarter. The game would come down to the buzzer when Bradley Popure hit the buzzer-beater to give the Huskies the 60-59 victory. In the winning effort, they will go to 4-3 on the season as they will play the Peru Nighthawks tomorrow for a chance to win the Clinton Community College Holiday Classic.
