#10 Masschseutts Minutemen @ Vermont Catamounts - Hockey East Men's Hockey - January 18th 2020
Vermont's Corey Moriarty (15) drives UMass's Gianfranco Cassaro (23) into the broads to break up the play. It would be a Hockey East matchup at the Gutterson Fieldhouse as the Vermont Catamounts would host the #10 UMass Minutemen. The game would not start off good for the home Catamounts as the Minutemen would score at the 1:37 mark of the first period on the John Leonard goal. The Minutemen would double up there lead at the 12:54 mark of the period on the Jake McLaughlin goal. The game would stay there through the second period as there was no scoring. In the third period, the Catamounts would score on Matt Alvaro's goal to cut the deficit to 2-1 at the 9:17 mark of the third period. The Minutemen would regain the 2 goal lead at 3-1 on the Matthew Kessel goal at the 17:22 mark of the third period. In the losing effort, Stefanos Lekkas would make 36 saves as the Catamount fall to 3-15-1 on the season. Gallery

Hartford Hawks @ Vermont Catamounts - America East Men's Basketball - Janaury 18th 2020
Vermont's Robin Duncan cuts around the hip of the defender and drives to the basket for the score as part of a team-high 11 points. It would be an America East matchup in front of a sold-out crowd at the Patrick Gym as the host Vermont Catamounts would take on the Hartford Hawks as they look to avenge last year's home loss that ended there home winning streak. In the first half, it would go back and forth for a while and then the Catamounts would steadily pull away as they would have a 37-27 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half the home Catamounts would leave little to be settled as they would win the half as they win the half 37-30 and secure the 74-57 victory. In the winning effort, Robin Duncan would lead the balanced attack with 11 points as the Catamount goes to 13-6 on the season. Next up for the Catamounts will be a trip to Maine to face the Black Bears on the 22nd. Gallery.

Northeastern Huskies @ Vermont Catamounts - NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball - December 16th 2018
Vermont's Stef Smith (0) goes and under the basket for the score as part of a 13 point night. The Vermont Catamounts would host the Northeastern Huskies in non conference action. The game would be right where it started at the half as the teams were tied at 29 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Catamounts would take caontrol of the game and at one point have a 13 point lead although the Huskies would not go away and would get it down to five points as Vermont would win the half 46-41 and secure the 75-70 victory. In the winning effort the Catamounts go to 8-3 on the season as Anthony Lamb leads the way 17 points next up for Vermont is St. Bonaventure. Gallery

Vermont Catamounts @ #10 Clarkson Golden Knights - NCAA Men's Hockey - October 18th 2019
Vermont's Stefanos Lekkas (40) with the stick save on Clarkson's Anthony Callin (44) crossing in front. It would be the Clarkson Golden Knights hosting the Vermont Catamounts in the home opener at Cheel arena. The game would would take a while to get going as the game would still be scoreless after the first period. The Golden Knights would take the 1-0 lead 6:43 into second period when Zach Tsekos would score on the power play to make it 1-0. The Catamounts would fight there way back and tie the game up at 1 at the 12 minute mark of the period on the Joey Cipollone goal. We would go to the third tied but the Catamounts would take the lead 2-1 quickly into the period on the Christian Evers goal. The Golden Knights would give up though as they would tie the game up at the ten minute mark when Zach Tsekos gets his second of the night. The Golden Knights would regain the lead 3-2 on Zach Tsekos third goal of the night. From there the Golden Knights would hold on for the win.
