The #2 Cornell Big Red would meet up with the #8 Brown Bears in the semi-final of the ECAC Championships at the Herb Brooks Arena in front of 4800 fans. The Big Red would open the first period with three goals setting the tone early with three goals in the period including two goals on one major powerplay with goals coming from Matthew Nuttle, Noah Bauld and Tristian Mullin. In the second period the Big Red would extend there lead to 4-0 on a goal from Morgan Barron on the powerplay at the thirteen minute mark. In the third period the Big Red would score two more from Joe Leahy and Kyle Betts to secure the 6-0. In the winning effort Matthew Galajda would make 30 saves in a shutout effort as they would advance to the ECAC Championships finals and face the winner of Clarkson and Harvard. Gallery.

Adirondack Thunder Vs Reading Royals - March 17th 2019

Adirondack's Hans Gorowsky (18) with the quick flip on the low corner fgor his first ever goal. The Adirondack would finish off a three game weekend home stand with the Reading Royals as they make a late season push for the top spot in the north division in front of 2900 fans. The lone goal of the first period would come from the Royals Kevin Goumas at 6:37 of the period for the 1-0 lead. As for the second period the Thunder would tie the game up at the seven minute mark on the Kelly Summers goals right off the face off. Then the Thunder would pull ahead 2-1 at the 11 minute mark on Hans. Gorowsky goal his first goal as a profesional. Although the Royals would answer back with 2 power plays goals in the final 90 seconds of the period from Josh McDonald and Chris McCarthy to give the Royals the 3-2 lead as we entered the final period. In the final period it would take the Thunder til four minutes left in the game before they would score and tie the game up on Hans Gorowsky second career goal and second of the night. The Thunder would take the 4-3 lead 38 seconds later on the Dylan Walchuck goal and the Thunder would get two empty net goals to secure the 6-4 victory and get the rare 6 point weekend. In the winning effort Hans Gorowsky would score twice with his first two pro goals and Cam Johnson would make 29 saves on the night in an emergency start. Gallery.

Adirondack Thunder Vs Newfoundland Growlers - March 16th 2019

Adirondack's Brian Ward (22) with the quick wrister right in front of the net for the goal as part of a two goal night. The Adirondack Thunder would host the Newfoundland Growlers on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Night. The battle would be on between the Thunder and Growlers as they fight for first in the division. The Growlers would get the opening goal of the game 1:55 in from Zach O'Brien for the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 6:36 mark of the second period when Brian Ward would score to tie the game at one. The Thunder would take the 2-1 lead on the Kelly Summers goal at the thirteen minute mark. Then in the 16th minute mark the Thunder would extend there lead to 3-1 on Connor Reilly first goal of the night. In the third period the game would turn into a shootout as both teams would score three times. Although scoring for the Thunder would be Brian Ward and Connor Reilly (twice) to complete the hat trick on the night and give the Thunder a 6-4 victory. In the winning effort Connor Reilly would lead the way with three goals as the Thunder get with in nine points of the division lead headed down the stretch. Gallery.

#3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #6 Brockport State Golden Eagles - February 20th 2019

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celeberate as they beat Brockport State to advance in the SUNYAC Tournament. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 Brockport State Golden Eagles in the Quarterfinals of the SUNYAC Tournament. The Golden Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead just 2:17 into the game. That would be the only scoring all the way til the 6:48 mark of the third period when Matt Araujo would score to tie the game at one. The Cardinals would take the lead just 80 seconds later on Cole Stallard's goal to make it a 2-1 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add a empty netter in the closing minute from Ross Sloan to secure the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort Johnny Poreda would make 30 saves as the Cardinals advance to the semi-finals and a matchup with Oswego State. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #3 Oswego State Lakers - February 16th 2019

Plattsburgh State's Christian Difelice (23) fighting through the check by the Oswego defender along the boards. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would end there regular season against arch rival #3 Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 7:59 mark of the first period from Christian Difelice. The Cardinals would waste no time make it 2-0 just 36 seconds later on Ryan Kuhn's goal. The game would remain there all the way til the third period when the Lakers would score at the 9:38 nark. From there the Cardinals would fight to keep the one goal lead and get the 2-1 victory. In the winning effort Jimmy Poreda would make 32 saves as the Cardinals finish the season at 12-11-2. Next up for the Cardinals would be the SUNYAC Quarterfinals and they will host Brockport State February 20th. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Cole Stallard (21) with the shot on net through the defender. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as they fight for playoff positioning. The Cardinals would strike quick on Andrew Pizzio's goal at 1:34 of the first period to make it 1-0 Cardinals. Then at the 5:50 mark the Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on Phillip Middleton's goal. Then with 6 minutes left in the period Ian Keller would score for Cortland to cut there lead in half at 2-1. The game would stay there til nine minute mark of the second period when Cam Owens would score for the Cardinals to regain the 2 goal lead at 3-1. Then just about two minutes later the Cardinals would score again to make 4-1. That is where the game would stay til the 11 minute mark of the third period when Cole Stallard would score for the Cardinals and secure the 5-1 victory. In the winning effort Jimmy Poerda would make 19 saves as the Cardinals would go to 11-11-2 on the season. Gallery.

#9 Cornell Big Red Vs St. Lawrence Saints - February 9th 2019

Cornell's Matthew Galajda (35) with the save by using the whole body as part of a save 20 save night for the shutout. The #9 Cornell Big Red would host the St. Lawrence Saints in ECAC Hockey action at Lynah Rink in front of just over 3900 fans. Michael Regush would give the Big Red the early 1-0 lead five minutes into the game on the power play. Then at the ten minute mark of the first period the Big Red would extend there lead to 2-0 on another powerplay goal. The game would remain there til the 11 minute mark of the second period when Sr. Lawrence's Andrew Mcintyre would light the lamp to cut the lead in half at 2-1. The Big Red would regain the two goal with 4 minutes left bin the period on Mitch Vanderlaan goal to make it 3-1. Although that would be all from the Saints as the Big Red hold on for the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort Cornell goes to 15-6-2 on the season as Matthew Galajda makes 20 saves in the shutout victory. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Antonie Desyoners (9) right on the door step of the goal going for his second goal of the night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Middlebury Panthers in non conference action in front of 1500 fans at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals would strike first 90 seconds into the game with Greg Malafronte for the 1-0 lead. Then at the 11 minute mark of the period the Greg Malafronte would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0 Cardinals lead. The Panthers would get on the board with 4 minutes left in the period to make it 2-1 Cardinals at the end of the first period. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on Antonio Desyoners eight minutes into the period. The game would stay there til the third period when the Panthers would explode for five goals in the period and the Panthers would get the 6-3 victory. In the losing effort Brandon Wells would make 21 saves as the Cardinals fall to 6-6-1 on the season. Gallery.

Manhattanville Valiants Vs Connecticut College Camels - January 5th 2019

The Manhattanville Valiants and the Connecticut College Camels would meet up in the third place game of the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic. The Camels draw first with the goal from Jacob Monreau at 8:51 of the first period bto give them the 1-0 lead after the period. The game would remain there throughout as that would be the loan goal of the game. The Camels goalie Andy Gobbo would make 37 saves four the shutout. With the win the Camels go to 4-8-1 and finish third in the tournament. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs St. Anselm Hawks - January 5th 2019

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celebrate as they are crowned the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic champions. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the St. Anselm Hawks in the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic Championship in front of 1400 people. The Cardinals would strike first and fast as Pat Egan would score just 55 seconds into the game for the 1-0 lead. The Hawks would fight back and tie the game at one with a first period goal at 14:00 with the Mike Ferraro goal. That would be all the scoring on the night through regulation and overtime and the game would finish tied at 1. Although because of the tournament the teams went to a shootout and in the fourth round Pat Egan would send the home folks home happy with the game winner. In the winning effort Lawson Fenton would make 35 saves on night as the Cardinals go to 6-5-2 on the season. Gallery.
