Packers wide receiver gives out the stiff arm on the defender and heads up the sidelines for the first down. It would be week four of the Indoor Flag Football season in the battle of winless teams West Plattsburgh Wolfpack playing the Plattsvegas Packers. The Packers would dominate the first half and have a 34-14 lead at the break. When the teams returned for the second half the scoring would slow down and the Packers would score to the 52-22 victory. With the Packers go to 1-3 while the Wolfpack drops to 0-4. Gallery.

Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football Rand Hill Painters Vs Plain White T's December 14 2013

Painter's offensive players and T's defensive players would battle in the endzone for the jump ball. In week four of the indoor flag football league the 2-1 Rand Hill Painters would play the 0-3 Plain White T's. The Rand Hill Painters would jump out to the quick 20-0 lead 12 minutes before the Plain White T's would get two scores to stay in the game at 20-12. Then to end the half the Painters would score twice more to have a 31-12 lead at the break. In the second half the Painters would get three unanswered scores to secure the 53-18 win. With the win the Rand Hill Painters go to 3-1 while the Plain White T's fall to 0-4.

Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football Pink Panthers Vs DB Xtreme December 14 2013

DB Xtreme's Golden with the leaping open field catch and turns it up for the first down. In week four of the indoor flag football season would season a battle of undefeated Pink Panthers and DB Xtreme. The offenses would take the stage throughout the game and trade shots throughout the first half and the Panthers would have a 34-20 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as the Panthers would outscore them 40-26 in the half for the 74-46 win. With the win the Pink Panthers stay undefeated at 3-0 while the DB Xtreme falls to 2-1-1 on the season.

Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football Adirondack J's Vs Clinton Gladiators December 14 2013

Adirondack J's DJ Barber (18) with the dive for the flags on the Gladiators quarterback. In week four of the indoor flag football season the 2-0 Adirondack J's would play the 2-1 Clinton Gladiators. In the first half the Gladiators would dominate by scoring three touchdowns for the 21-7 lead. When the teams back for the second the Adirondack J's would settle down and come together to shut down the Gladiators and outscore them 29-14 and get the last minute 36-35 win. With the win the Adirondack J's stay undefeated at 3-0 while the Clinton Gladiators fall to 2-2.

NYSPHSAA Boy's Hockey Beekmantown Eagles Vs Niskayuna Mohawks December 13 2013

Beekmantown's Michael Parent (27) with the crunching hip check along the end boards. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Niskayuna Mohawks in nonleague hockey action. The 1st period would be a big one for the Eagles as they would light the lamp five times with five different scores Brandon Buksa, Brendan Davison, Tyler Pepper, Nathan Foster, and Kyle Constantly and have a 5-1 lead after one. In the second period it would be more of the same the Eagles would score just one minute in from Brandon Buksa (2nd of the night to make it 6-1. Then in the 11th minute of the period the Eagles would score twice from Callum Sullivan and Syke Dominy to have an 8-1 lead after two. In the third period the Eagles would add one more from Nathan Hebert at the 10:40 mark to secure the 9-1 win. With the win Eagles go to 2-0 on the season. Gallery

Upstate New York Girl's Hockey League St. Lawerence Larries Vs Canton Golden Bears December 11 2013

St. Lawrence's Katie Lamica (20) fights on the doorstep for the rebound goal. The St. Lawrence Larries would play the Canton Golden Bears in Malone as part of the Upstate New York Girls Hockey League. The game would remain scoreless until the second period when Canton's Natalie Giglio would score 41 seconds in to make it 1-0 Golden Bears. The Bears would extend there lead to 2-0 on Margret Troiano's goal at 6:11. Then in the last minute of the period the Bears would make it 3-0 on Blake Orosz. When the teams returned for the third it would be more of the same as the Bears score 17 seconds in on Mary Kaite Mace's goal to make it 4-0. The Larries would keep fighting though and get a goal two minutes left from Paige Debeer to make it 4-1. The Bears would add an insurance marker in the last minute from Blake Orosz's second of the night to get the 5-1 win. In the losing effort Larries Holly Zeldenrust would stop 43 as they fall to 0-3 on the season. Gallery

St. Lawerence's Brooke Reville (16) shoots the puck right off the crossbar looking for the goal. The St. Lawerence Larries would host the Lake Placid Blue Bombers in Malone in Girls Hockey as part of the schools joined the team. The game would be a great competition as the two teams were evenly matched. The game would remain scoreless until 5 minutes into the second period when Lake Placid's Brooke Reid would light the lamp to give the Blue Bombers the 1-0 lead. That is where the game would remain until the last few seconds of the game when Lake Placid's Brooke Ried would score again in the empty net to secure the 2-0 win. With the lose the Larries fall to 0-3 on the season. In the losing effort, Stephaine Peets would have 26 saves. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Hockey Malone Huskies Vs Norwood-Norfolk Icemen December 11 2013

Malone's Trevor Coley (12) with the crunching hit along the end boards. The Malone Huskies would host the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen in Northern Athletic Conference action. The Icemen would get the games first tally 4:52 on Austin Cousineau's goal to make it 1-0 Icemen. Then at 6:49 mark of the period the Icemen would strike again on Kaden Pickerings' powerplay goal to make it 2-0. Then at 11:56 of the first Kyler Head would score for the Huskies to cut the lead in half at 2-1. The Icemen would answer back though before the period ended to make it 3-1 Icemen at the end of the first. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 on Colby Munson's power-play goal at 7:17 of the second. Then just 30 seconds later Huskies Josh Trombley would keep them within two at 4-2. Then just 30 seconds into the third period the Icemen would extend the lead to 5-2 Colby Munson's second goal of the night. Then at 7:44 Autin Cousineau would get his second of the night to make it 6-2. The Huskies would fight till the end and get a late goal by Jake Henning but the Huskies would fall 6-3. In the losing effort Joey Brown would have 32 saves as the fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Basketball Malone Huskies Vs Gouverneur Wildcats December 9 2013

The Malone Huskies would host the Gouverneur Wildcats in Section X Central Division action. The Huskies would hold the slim 11-8 lead after the first quarter. The game would remain tight at the half with the Huskies having a 23-19 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the game would stay tight with the Huskies having a 35-30. Then in the fourth quarter both teams offenses would come alive but the Huskies proved to have enough as they outscored them 22-19 for the 57-49 victory. In the winning effort Malone's Alex Johnson would lead the way with 19 points as the Huskies go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

ECAC Men's Hockey #10 Clarksn Golden Knights Vs St. Lawrence Saints December 6 2013

Clarkson's Greg Lewis (33) makes the glove save on the breakaway attempt. The #10 Clarkson Golden Knights would host crosstown rival the St. Lawrence Saints in ECACHL action in front of the third biggest Cheel Arena crowd at 3,965. The Saints would get the first goal of the game on the power-play from Jeremy Wick at 6:30 of the first. The Golden Knights would answer and tie the game up at 9:28 of the first on a TJ Moor power-play goal. The Golden Knights would take the lead at 2-1 on Simon Bessette's goal at 14:25 of the first. Then in the last minute of the first Jeremy Wick would get his second power-play goal of the night to tie the game at 2. That is where the game would stay till the last minute of the second period when the Saints would take the 3-2 lead on Matt Carey's goal. Then at 6:09 of the third period Clarkson's Jarrett Burton would tie the game at three. Then on the power-play Jeff DiNallo would give the Golden Knights the 4-3 lead at 10:57. Then just over 30 seconds later the Golden Knights would extend there lead to 5-3 on Troy Joseph's goal. The Saints wouldn't go quite though as Matt Carey would get his second of the night to make it 5-4 with two minutes left in the game. The Golden Knights would hold on from there for the 5-4 win. In the winning effort Greg Lewis would make 17 saves as the Golden Knights go to 11-3-1 on the season. Gallery
