East Coast Snocross Northeast Snocross Challenge Plattsburgh, NY January 9th 2011

Matt Rabideau from Plattsburgh would bring the local flavor to event by winning the Trail 800 class. The first stop for the East Coast Snocross in Plattsburgh had its second day of action. The major show of the day would be the Pro Open division with some of the best snocross racers in the nation at the event. Mathieu Morin with the Ski-Doo from Quebec would complete the weekend sweep in the pro class by beating Dave Allard at the finish. The weekend was a great success with over 200 riders coming and everyone looking forward to coming back next year. Gallery

East Coast Snocross Rave-X Outer Limits Freestyle Snocross Plattsburgh, NY January 8th 2011

Eric St. John getting full extend on the Superman seat grab in front of a very impressed crowd. The Rave-X Outer Limits Tour came to Plattsburgh, NY to put on to great shows during the downtime for the East Coast Snocross races. The crowd keeps growing the closer that it was time for there shows. Gallery

Pro Racers take it three wide over the table to start the Pro Super Stock Finals with the Arctic Cat out in front of the two Ski-Doo's. The old classic snocross would add another chapter between the Ski-Doo and Arctic Cat. Mathieu Morin on the Ski-Doo would go on to win the Pro Super Stock race. Would head into Sunday's Pro Open event looking to get the clean sweep. Gallery

ECAC West Women's Hockey: #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs #9 Elimra College Soaring Eagles December 11th 2010

Plattsburgh State's Megan DiJulio (13) with the check along the end boards to free up the puck. he Plattsburgh State Cardinals would come up on the short end of a 3-2 contest against the Elmira College Soaring Eagles in a battle of two top 10 teams in the nation. Plattsburgh State would get the opening score bt Kayla Colang to take the 1-0 lead 7 minutes into the first period. The Soaring Eagles would answer quickly back with the tying goal 2 minutes later. Then at the 14-minute mark of the period they would take the 2-1. The Cardinals Kylie Klassen would tie the game at 2 with 30 seconds remaining in the first. The Soaring Eagles would get the game-winner just a minute into the second period for the 3-2 victory. With the lose the Cardinals take there first loss of the season falling to 7-1 and with the win the Soaring Eagles improve to 8-2-1 and are tied atop the conference standings. Gallery

SUNYAC Women's Basketball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Oneonta Red Dragons December 4 2014

Plattsburgh State's Taylor Amarando (40) drives the baseline and past Oneonta State's Mary Kate O'Connell (14) for the basket. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals were looking to come back after losing the night before. Although those efforts would come up short against the Oneonta State Red Dragons 71-59. In the losing effort, Nora Campbell would lead the way with 19 points as the Cardinals would fall to 2-4 on the season and 0-2 in the conference. Gallery

SUNYAC Men's Basketball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Oneonta Red Dragons December 4 2010

Plattsburgh State's Chris Ruiz (15) rises up over the Oneonta defender for the offensive rebound and put back. In a game that was a rematch of last year's SUNYAC Championship the Cardinals would prevail with the 69-60 win and improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Leading the way was Carl Munnerlyn with 17 points. Gallery

SUNYAC Women's Basketball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs New Paltz Hawks December 3rd 2010

Plattsburgh State's Lindsey Larivee (12) slices down the baseline and leans around the defender for the shot. The Cardinals would open up conference play on the short end to the New Paltz Hawks 67-55. Turnovers would be the Cardinal's downfall every time they would start to get close they would lose the ball and the Wildcats would go on a run. With the loss, the Cardinals are 2-3 overall 0-1 in conference play. Gallery

ECAC West Women's Hockey:Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs RIT Tigers January 22nd 2010

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Jenny Kistner (8) swings it to outside to avoid the defender. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the 4-1 victory over the Buffalo State Bengals in ECAC-West play. The Cardinals would open up the scoring in the second on three goals coming from Alyssa Parke, Allison Era, and Jenny Kistner. They would add one from Emma Rutherford in the third period. The Bengals would get a goal late to make it 4-1. Sydney Aveson would stop 20 of 21 as the Cardinals improve to 6-2-1 on the season. Gallery

SUNYAC Men's Basketball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs New Paltz Wildcats December 3rd 2010

Plattsburgh State's Carl Munnerlyn (3) with the floater down the baseline for two of his twenty-nine points. The defending SUNYAC champions would pick up right where they left off last season as they beat the Hawks 87-73. The Cardinals run and gone style of offense would be the key to the victory as the Hawks just couldn't keep up in the late going. Carl Munnerlun would lead the way with 29 points. Gallery

NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Primelink Great Northern Shootout Championship Plattsburgh State Cardinals vs #1 Norwich Cadets November 29th 2010

Plattsburgh State's Jared Docking (39) tried to slide it into the bottom corner although the Norwich goalie gets the glove on the pick at the last minute. The game would be tied at o after the 1st period. Then the Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead just two minutes into the 2nd period on the Eric Satim goal. Although the Cadets would answer right back to tie the game at 1 three minutes later. The Cadets would take the 2-1 8 minutes into the third. Then the Cardinals would score two goals in just over a minute from Nick Jensen and Matt Bessing to capture the title 3-2. In the winning effoer John Leis stops 29 shots and Eric Satim was named the touranment MVP. Gallery
