Clarkson Golden Knights @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals - NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse - March 3rd 2020

Plattsburgh State's Robert Braceland (2) on the attack to the net takes a check from the Clarkson defender. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have their home opener against a fellow north country foe the Clarkson Golden Knights as they were looking for there first win of the season. The game would not start good for the home Cardinals as they would trail 4-1 after the first quarter with the lone goal coming from Daniel Bonafede. In the second quarter, the Cardinal would find there offense although it still wouldn't be enough as they lose the quarter 6-4. Scoring for the Cardinals would be Kieran Rowley, and Dillon Smith (three) and trail 10-5 at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the defenses on both teams would take control of the game as it would be 4-1 Knights in the half with the lone cardinal foal from Robert Braceland as the Cardinals fall 15-6. RPI Engineers @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals - NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse - March 28th 2018

Plattsburgh State's Travis Mauro (4) battles for the face-off a win at centerfield. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the R.P.I. Engineers in nonleague action the first quarter the Engineers would get the only two goals for the 2-0 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the offense would come alive for the Cardinals as they would score four goals from Billy Moller (2), Kevin Litchauer and Ryan Hubbard. Although the Engineers would also get two goals and the game would be tied at 4-4 as the teams went into halftime. In the third quarter the Cardinals would get outscored 3-1 to make it 7-5 with the lone Cardinal goal coming from Brad Johnston. In the fourth quarter the Engineers would put the icing on the cake as they outscore the Cardinals 4-1 with the Cardinal goal coming from Ryan Hubbard as the Cardinals fall 11-6. The Cardinals would cruise out to a 6-1 lead after the first period on goals from Austin Belz (2), Ryan Hubbard, Ryan Callahan (2), and Jake Carroll. In the second quarter, the Panthers would put up more of a fight although the Cardinals would win the quarter 4-3 on goals from Mike Gay, Jake Carroll, Joe Mineau, and Ryan Callahan to have a 10-4 lead at the break. When the teams came out for the second half the Cardinals would show no let-up as they win the quarter 4-0 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard, and Kevin Litchauer for the 14-4 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would stay in control winning quarter 4-2 on goals from Billy Moller, Christopher Weider, Austin Belz, and Matt Gonzales to secure the 18-6 win. In the winning effort, Austin Graham would make 6 saves although leading the way for the Cardinals would be Ryan Callahan with 5 goals and 3 assist for an 8 point day as the Cardinals go to 5-2 on the season. The Cardinals would jump out to the 5-3 lead after the first quarter on goals from Billy Moller, Ryan Callahan (2), Jake Carroll, and Ryan Hubbard. In the second quarter, the Cardinal offense would step up and win the quarter 7-1 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard (4) and Ryan Ehli for the 12-4 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Spartans would do there best to make it a game and win the quarter 3-2 scoring for the Cardinals was Austin Belz and Brad Johnson and take a 14-7 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would put the finishing touches on the game with a 6-0 quarter with goals from Jake Carroll, Mike Gay, Austin Belz, Sean Alder, Logan Lamothe, and EJ Suris for the 20-7 victory. The Cardinals and Saints would be deadlocked after the 1st quarter tied at three and getting goals for the Cardinals would be Ryan Hubbard, Mitchell Labianca, and Brendan Damm. In the second quarter, the Saints would start to take command of the game outscoring the Cardinals 5-0 to take at 8-3 lead at intermission. The Saints would win the third quarter 2-1 to have a 10-4 lead the lone Cardinals goal would be Ryan Hubbard's second goal of the night. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would try to do there best but it would be too little too late as they would outscore the Saints 3-1 with goals coming from Mike Gay, Patrick Nash and Brendan Damm second of the night to make the final score 11-7. The Cardinals would have a 3-2 lead after the first quarter with goals from Brendan Damm (2) and Matt Prokescch. In the second quarter, the Engineers would outscore the Cardinals 4-1 and take a 6-4 lead into the break getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Ryan Callahan. When the teams would return for the second half the Engineers would win the third quarter 3-1 and have a 9-5 lead the Cardinals goal would come from Joey Kromer. In the fourth quarter, there would only be one goal scored by the Cardinals Patrick Nash.
