Chateaugay's Madison Green (24) dives on the ball on the court to secure the Bulldogs possession. It would be the start of the JV season as the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The Bulldogs would take the early 16-6 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Bulldogs would extend there lead to 26-15 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would win the quarter making it 40-25. Then in the fourth quarter the Bulldogs would just need to cruise as they would secure the 45-35 victory. In the winning effort Alica Cook would lead the way with 18 points as the Bulldogs go to 1-0 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Abby Barnes (24) drives by the defender and continues onto the hoop for the basket. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host their neighbors the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in non-league action. The game would start off tight actually as tight as it could get as they would be tied at 10 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bulldogs would pull ahead barely as they would have 25-22 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half the Bobcats defense would step in the third quarter as the Bobcats would outscore the Bulldogs 17-5 and take the 39-30 lead after three. The Bulldogs would try there best in the fourth to get back in the game but their efforts would come up short and they would fall 48-39 to the Bobcats. Even with the Bulldogs lose Danielle Charland and Abby Barnes would each have 11 points as they fall to 0-1. Gallery

The St. Lawrence Larries would play the Beekmantown Eagles in Upstate New York Girls Hockey in Malone. The game would start out rough for the Larries as they would give up three first period goals. The second period would be more of the same as they would give up another three to make it 6-0. Then in the last period the Eagles would add another two as the Eagles would cruise to the 8-0 win over the Larries. With the lose the Larries fall to 0-1 on the season. The Larries goaltender Holly Zeldenrust would do her best to keep them alive stopping 52 of 60 shots. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would host the Ogdensburg Blue Devils to get the Section X Hockey season underway. The game would remain scoreless all the way till the third period when Malone's Jake Henning would get the game's first goal at 1:10 to give the Huskies 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 11th minute of the third when the Blue Devils would tie it up on Jon Taylor's goal. The Huskies would keep scraping though and get the game-winner with just over two minutes left when Bailey Conklin would score on the breakaway to give the Huskies the 2-1 win. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would play #15 Middlebury in the Championship of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout. The game would start well for the Cardinals as Connor Gorman would light the lamp 3:29 into the game to give the Cardinals the early 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 just over two minutes later on Dakota Mason's goal. Then with just under two minutes left in the period would add another one on Michael Radisa's goal to give the Cardinals the convincing 3-0 lead after the first period. That is where the game would stay until 11:12 of the third period when the Panthers would get their lone goal from Louis Belisle to make it 3-1. From there on the Cardinals would hold check to get the 3-1 victory and there 4th Primelink Great Northern Shootout Championship. In the winning effort Matthieu Cardieux would make 20 saves and be named the MVP of the tournament. With the win the Cardinals stay undefeated at 8-0-1 on the season. Gallery

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet the Wisconsin-Superior Yellow Jackets in the semi-finals of the 16th edition of the Primelink Great Northern Shootout in Plattsburgh. Plattsburgh's Michael Cassidy would get the home Cardinals on the broad first at 6:31 of the first period to make it 1-0. The Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on Alex Benton's goal at the 9:43 mark. The Yellow Jackets would cut the lead in half at 12;57 of the first period when Anton Stevenson would light the lamp to make it 2-1. The Cardinals would extend the lead back to two just over a minute into the second when Dillan Fox would score to make it 3-1. The game would stay there until the last minute of the game when Alex Jensen would add an empty netter to secure the Cardinals 4-1 victory. The Adirondack J's and Plain White T's would meet to start the Indoor Flag Football season. The Plain White T's would get the early 7-0 lead. Adirondack J's would answer back though on an Austin Velie touchdown to make it 7-6 at the intermission. When the teams came back Adirondack J's Craig Livsey would strike quick with the interception touchdown to make it 12-7 Adirondack J's. Then just three minutes leader Plain White T's would take the lead back on the touchdown at 13-12. Then at the 10-minute mark Craig Livsey would strike again for his second pick 6 to give Adirondack J's the 20-12 lead and the score would hold up for the win. With the win Adirondack J's start the season 1-0 while Plain White T's are 0-1.

Gladiators' receivers reach over Wolfpacks Sanchez(15) and catch the ball for the touchdown. The West Plattsburgh Wolfpack and the Clinton Gladiators would meet in the opener and look to get their season started off right. Well for one they would succeed on that mission the other would need to go back to the drawing broad. Clinton Gladiators would score three minutes in on a pick 6 and take the 6-0 lead. Then five minutes leader the Wolfpack would tie the game up at six. Then before the half ended the Gladiators would score twice more and take a 22-6 lead at intermission. Then when the teams came back the Gladiators would score four more unanswered touchdowns and cruise to the 48-6 win. With the win the Gladiators go to 1-0 while the Wolfpack goes to 0-1.

The game would remain scoreless until the 10th minute when CJ's would get on the broad to take the 6-0 lead. The score would remain there til two minutes into the second half when CJ's Barber would score to make it 14-0. Rand Hill Painters would get on the broad at the five-minute mark to make it 14-7. Then at 15th-minute mark, Justin Frennier would score for CJ's to make it 20-7. Then at the last minute they would put the game away with one more score to make it a 26-7 final. With the win, CJ Tunes & DJ Photography go to 1-0 and Rand Hill Painters fall to 0-1 on the season.
