Plattsburgh State's Emily Kaspzak (22) with the lone goal game on the scramble in front of the net. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Williams Ephs from the NESCAC in their last nonconference of the season at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena in front of 400 loud fans. It would be a very evenly matched affair on a Saturday afternoon with both teams having their chances to take control of the game early. In the end, there would only be one goal scored on this Saturday afternoon with that going to Emily Kasprzak at the 5:22 mark of the second period. From there defense would be the name of the game with Lilla Nease making 31 saves for the shutout win as the Cardinals go to 19-2-1 on the season. The Cardinals will hit the road next weekend for a pair of games against Canton Kangaroos. Gallery
