Store Tavern's Matt Rivers (88) with the catch on the riser to deep left field for the out. It would be game 7 of Adirondack Slow Pitch League and it would pit the Store Tavern and Leroux Fuels. It would be a game that Store Tavern would take control of from the start to finish with some help with some costly errors by Leroux Fuels. With that being said the Store Tavern would get the 21-9 victory to go to 3-4 on the season. Gallery

Saranac's Hunter Williams (5) with the tag at second to get them would-be base stealer. It would be the last JV game of the season and it would match up the Saranac Chiefs and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would jump out to an 8-1 lead after the fourth inning. Then the Chiefs would slowly start crawling there way back into the game as they would get a couple in the fifth to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth, they would great three more to make it 8-6. Unfortunately though the rain would start coming and hard and the game would be called after the sixth inning to give the Eagles the 8-6 victory. Gallery

Saranac's Justin Burdough (24) with the tag at the Eagle trying to slide in. It would be the last JV game of the season and it would match up the Saranac Chiefs and the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would jump out to a 8-1 lead after the fourth inning. Then the Chiefs would slowly start crawling there way back into the game as they would get a couple in the fifth to make it 8-3. Mini-Modifieds Steven Hemingway (18ny) and Tyler Irwin (54) would get tangled up during the feature coming off of turn four. It would be week two of racing at Airborne Park Speedway with the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades, Modifieds and the fewature event the ACT Bill McBride Spring Green 115 presented by Interestate Batteries. The race event was originally scheduled for the night before but was moved back cause of bad weather. The dricers would come out to play and play hard on Sunday as the only walk away winner would be Dale O'Neill in the Mini-Modifieds. The in the second feature of the day it would be Leon Gonyo taking the checkered flag as he was chased hard by Nick Heywood through out the race. The next up would be the Renegades features and that would feature a couple of late race restarts and would see Josh Terry hold on against Shawn Duquette at the finish line for a photo finish victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the afternoon the ACT Spring Green 115 and it would be a two man race between Joey Polewarczyk and Patrick Laperle and the progressive banking would allow them to go side by side for many laps with the eventual win going to Joey Polewarczyk. The drivers of airborne are off until May 30th when the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades and Modifieds (Double Feature) will take to the take with the Endro Series. Gallery

The teams would try runs in the first inning and be tied at one. The Store Tavern would add a run in the third and take a 2-1 lead. Then in the fourth they add three more runs while Handy Dan's would add one and make it 5-2. The in the fifth inning the Store Tavern would erupt for four runs and take a 9-2 lead. Handy Dan's would try and make a last inning comeback in the seventh but it would fall short as they would get three runs and the Store Tavern would hold on for the 9-5 victory. Store Tavern's Dan Myers with the tumbling catch in center field for the out. It would be the second game of the season between the Store Tavern and Dragoon's Farm Equipment. Dragoons would get off to a good start getting two in the second and three in third for the 5-0 lead. Then in the fourth, the Store Tavern would start there come back as they would get one to make it 5-1. Then in the fifth, they would add four to tie the game at five. Then in the sixth, they would get the eventual go-ahead run and hold on for the 6-5 win.
