The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Buffalo State Bengals to finish of a weekend doubleheader in the NEWHL in front of 345 fans. The Cardinals wouldn't waste anytime as they would get three goals in the first period from Ashley Songin, Annie Katonka and Nicole Unsworth for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would strike for two more coming from Mackenzie Millen and Annie Katonka to make it a 5-0 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add one more in the third period from Moe Tsukimoto to secure the 6-0 victory.
