It would be the last game of the regular season for both the Plattsburgh Hornets and the #1 Moriah Vikings as they would host them at the Hornets Nest in front of a full nest. The Hornets would not be a very good host to the Moriah Vikings as they would jump out and take control of the game with a 28-7 first quarter. In the second quarter, the Vikings would look to get back in the game with a 17-11 quarter although the Hornets would take the 39-24 lead into the intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the third quarter would be very evenly contested as the Hornets would have the slim 21-18 quarter and expand their lead to 60-42 into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Vikings would do their best to get back in the game with a 12-7 quarter but it wouldn't be enough as the Hornets would get the 67-54 victory. In the winning effort, the Hornets would go to 12-5 while the Vikings would fall to 17-2 on the season. Gallery
