Greece's Jack Pilgrim (18) with the hard hit on Saranac's Noah Miner (9) that sends him into the boards hard. We would have a little out-of-conference action tonight at Amer-can North Sports Center as the Saranac Spartans would host the Greece Storm from section five from over by Rochester. The Storm would jump out to the 1-0 lead just a minute into the game on the Noah Guntrum goal. However, the Spartans would come right back and tie the game up at the 2:42 mark of the period on the Landen Duprey goal. The game would stay there till the last 1:30 of the period when Noah Miner would score to give the Spartans the 2-1 lead. The Spartans would come out in the second period firing and expand the lead to 3-1 on the Ashtyn Catlin goal at the 4:45 mark of the period. The Storm wouldn't go away and they would make a 3-2 game on the powerplay goal from Jack Pilgram with 2:15 left in the period. The storm would come out in a surge in the third period and tie the game at three on the Mitchell Barnes powerplay goal just 2:48 into the period. The Storm weren't done though as they would keep coming and take the 4-3 lead halfway through the period on the Alan Wilkins goal to make it 4-3 and from there defense would hold the line as the Storm would get the 4-3. In the winning effort, the Greece Storm goes to 5-6-1 and will travel to take on the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. As for the Spartans, they will also be 5-6-1 on the season and will have a matchup tomorrow with the Fayetteville-Manlius. Gallery
