Saranac's Landon Duprey with the early first-period to goal to answer back and tie the game at one. It would be the rematch from last year's Section VII Boy's Hockey Championship and it would feature the #10 Beekmantown Eagles and the Saranac Spartans the Spartans would be looking to avenge their earlier lost to the Eagles. The game would start well for the home Eagles as they would jump to the early 1-0 lead on the Edward Sweenor goal just 1:21 into the game. However, the Spartans would come back just over three minutes later and tie the game at one on the Landon Duprey goal. Then with 2:30 left in the first period, the Spartans would take the 2-1 lead on the Ashton Caitlin goal. The game would stay there till the 4:53 mark of the second period when the Eagles would come and tie the game at two on the Sam Bingel goal. However, the Spartans would not let the game stay tied long as they would retake the lead at 3-2 on Ashton Caitllin's second goal of the night just 45 seconds later. Then Landon Duprey would score twice for the Spartans with one on the powerplay to take the 5-2 lead. However, the Eagles would not let the period end that way as they would get with 1:32 left in the period as Pryce Parker would score to make it a 5-3 game as they headed to the second intermission. In the third period though the Eagles would come out flying as they would score three times in the first ten minutes of the period all from Zach Lapier to secure the 6-5 Eagles win and go to 9-2 on the season as they head to Saranac Lake Thursday to take on the Lakers while the Spartans fall to 5-5-1 on the season as they will welcome a couple of teams from the Syracuse area to AC North over the weekend.
