Beekmantown's Justin Fechette watches over the play as he gets his 200th win in his career at the helm of the Beekmantown Eagles. The #11 Beekmantown Eagles would return to the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena for the first time in the 2024 portion of the season and they would take on the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Lakers. The Eagles would get off to a fast start and take the 1-0 lead just 29 seconds into the game on the Zach Lapier goal. The game would stay there till late in the period when Sam Bingel would score to make it a 2-0 game to end the first period. The Eagles would start the second period fast as well when Novak Jarus lit the lamp just 51 seconds into the period and extend the lead to 3-0. Then just about 1:30 later the Eagles would strike again and make it a 4-0 game on Sam Bingel's second goal of the game. Then at the eleventh-minute mark, the Lakers would finally get on the board with the Carson St. Louis goal to make it a 4-1 game. Then with 47 seconds left in the period the Eagles would regain their four-goal lead at 5-1 on Sam Bingel's hat trick goal. When the teams returned for the third period the offense would be on display for the Eagles as they would get 5 unanswered goals from Zach Lapier (twice), Keegin Rodier (twice), and Caden Columbus. The Lakers would add another with just seven minutes left in the game on the Ayden McCormick goal. The home Beekmantown Eagles get the 10-2 win though and go to 8-2 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.
