When the teams returned for the third quarter the Spartans would take back control of the game with a 18-9 quarter and expand their lead to 40-23. In the fourth quarter, the Spartans would put the final touches on the game with a 19-4 quarter and cruise to the 59-27 victory. In the winning effort, the Spartans would go to 5-1 on the season as Layla Pellerin would lead the way with 17 points while the Boquet Valley Griffins would fall to 4-5 on the season. Gallery
