Malone's Erin McDonald (1) slaps the tag on Canton's Jamie DaSilva (10) as she attempted to steal second base. The Malone Huskies would host the Canton Golden Bears in Section X action. The Bears would get the early 1-0 lead in the first although the Huskies would answer right back with two in the bottom of the inning to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead after the first. The Huskies would add a run in the third inning to make it 3-1. Then in the sixth, the Huskies would add to more to put the game out of reach and secure the 5-1 win. Leading the way for Huskies would be Janelle Headen with two rbi's along with Erin McDonald with two hits. Abby Sharlow would go five innings striking out five for the win.
