Beekmantown's Austin Bradish (12) picks the short bunt fires to first from his backside for the out. The #1 Beekmantown Eagles hosted #4 Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Section 7 Semi-Final action. The Cougars would out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first. That is where the score would remain until the third when the Eagles would bounce back with three runs to take a 3-1 lead. The Cougars would come right back in the fourth and score two runs to tie the game at 3. Then om fifth the Eagles would take back the lead at 4-3. Then in the sixth they would add an insurance run to secure the 5-3 win. Getting the win for the Eagles would be Austin Bradish as he struck out three and gave up four hits three walks and three runs. With the win, the Eagles advance to the finals against the Peru Indians at Chip Cummings Field on May 30th. Gallery
