Beekmantown's Adam Goldfarb (3) with the sliding barehanded pick behind second base and completes the play by firing to first for the out. The Beekmantown Eagles and Peru Indians would face off for the Section VII Class B title at Chip Cummings Field for the right to go the state playoffs. The Indians would take the 1-0 lead in first to get everything started. The Indians would extend it to 3-0 in third. Then in the bottom of the third, the Eagles would get right back in the game and tie it at three with three runs of there own. The Indians would regain the lead at 4-3 in the fifth. Although the relentless Eagles would tie it back up in the 6th to make it 4-4. Then the big drama would come in the bottom of the seventh when Zack Myers would get the game-winning walk-off single that would score Brandon Rabideau to give the Eagles the 5-4 win and Section VII Title. Getting the win on the mound for the Eagles would be Brandon Rabideau. With the win, the Beekmantown Eagles now head to state play where they play Schalmont on June 3rd at Chip Cummings Field.
