Beekmantown's Austin Bradish(12) makes contact on the heater and sends it to the outfield for a base hit. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Schlamont Sabres in the opening round of the New York State Class B Playoffs. The game would be pitching duel through the first four innings with only four hits combined by the teams. The Eagles would actually strike first to take a 1-0 lead. Then at the top of the 5th, the Sabres bats would come alive and the Eagles defense would fall to execute some plays and the Sabres would strike for 6 runs and have a 6-1 lead. The Eagles would try there best to get back in the game in the bottom of the inning as they would score two to make it 6-3. Then in the seventh inning, the Sabres would put the final touches of the game as they would score four more runs and secure the 10-3 victory.
