Chateaugay's Wayne Cowan (19) and the Brushton-Moira defender go up for the ball inside the box and Cowan gets it on net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Brushton-Moira Panthers in Section X East Division. The two rivals would play a very spirited game throughout and be very competitive. The Bulldogs would get the opening goal in the 11th minute on the Cody Smith goal to make it 1-0 Bulldogs. That is where the game would remain until 63rd minute when the Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 on Wayne Cowan's rebound goal. That would be enough for the Bulldogs as they would hold on for the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would just need to make one save for the shutout victory.
