Plattsburgh State's Connor Gorman (11) rides Geneseo's Jack Caradonna (7) into the broads on the check. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Ice Knights in SUNYAC action. The game would start good for the Cardinals Barry Rotyman would light the lamp to make it 1-0 Cardinals just four minutes in on the power play. The Cardinals would add another special teams goal this time shorthanded as Michael Radisa would make it 2-0 Cardinals with 26 seconds left in the first. When the teams came out for 2nd period the Cardinals didn't let up as Kevin Emmerling would score two minutes in to make it 3-0. Then at the nine-minute mark the Knights would get on the broad with Stephen Collins goal to make it 3-1. Then with 4:30 left in the second period Barry Rotyman would get his second of the net to secure the 4-1 victory.
