Chateaugay's Abby Barnes wins the opening tip over Brushton-Moria's Caitlyn Lepage (15) and the Bulldogs are off to the races. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host arch-rival Brushton-Moria Panthers in Section X action. The Bulldogs would leave little doubt in the game when they would outscore them 19-1 in the first quarter including a 13-0 run to start the game. From there on out the Panthers would do there best to stay in the game. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would outscore the Panthers 11-7 to take a 30-8 lead at intermission. Then in the second half, the Bulldogs would outscore the Panthers 27-23 to take the 59-31 victory. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 31 points.
