Norwich would get the opening goal to take a 1-0 lead after the first. Then in the 2nd period, the Cardinals would tie it up at 1. Then just a few minutes later the Cadets would take the lead back 2-1 lead. Then in the final minute of the 2nd period, the Cardinals would tie the game back up at 2. That is where the game would stay until the Cadets got the game-winner with 2 minutes remaining in overtime on a very questionable power play.
