Then Shawn Avery would get one with 3 minutes left in the period to take the 3-0 lead in the final period. Then in the third Oakley Thomas would put the icing on the cake 3 minutes in. The Huskies would get on board when Tucker Bartenslager got the short-handed goal. Cory Garrow would stop 19 in the win for Salmon River as Dan Rondeau would stop 22 in the loss.
