The Hockey Plus/Loreman Padres took on the Meron/Renzi Expos in game 1 of the CVBL Semis in a game that the Expos would be in total control from the start. The Expos would cruise to an 18-2 win and take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series. Games two and three will be played August 16th starting at noon at a site still to be determined.
