That is where the game would remain until the third period when Jordan Caldwel would score at the 12:40 mark for the 4-0 Cardinals lead. Then just 44 seconds later the Cardinals would score again to make it 5-0 on Giovanna Sense's second goal of the night. Then just to finish off the Cardinals would get one more in the closing seconds from Caitlin Gilligan to secure the 6-0 win.
