The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles in SUNYAC women's basketball. The game would be tight throughout the first quarter and the Cardinals would have the slim 15-11 lead. In the second quarter the Eagles would play scrappy and win the quarter 17-11 and the Cardinals would trail 28-26 at halftime. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Cardinals would play shutdown defense and win the quarter 12-8 and the Cardinals would take a 38-36 lead into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter the Cardinals would hold serve with a 16-14 quarter and the Cardinals would secure the 54-50 victory.
