The Saranac Chiefs would take the 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a Johnny Devins rushing touchdown. Then in the second quarter, the Peru Indians offense would start to click as they would get two scores to take the 14-6 lead into the break. Then when the teams came back for the second half they would pick up where they left off getting another score in the third to make it 20-6.
