Chateaugay Bulldogs celebrate as they win a thriller over Madrid-Waddington in Overtime to win the Eastern Division. It would be time for the biggest rival game in Section X as the #4 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets with the Eastern Division standing in the balance. It would be a speed game throughout and very physical underneath the Bulldogs would have the slim 15-14 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, it would still be tight and the Bulldogs would win the quarter 10-8 to have a 25-22 lead at the break. When the teams back for the third quarter it would stay tight and the Bulldogs would extend the lead winning the quarter 14-12 as the Bulldogs would have a 39-34 lead headed into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Yellow Jackets would scrap all the way and tie the game up with 9 seconds left to force overtime tied at 47. In overtime, the Bulldogs win it 7-3 and get the 54-50 victory.
