Plattsburgh State's Matt Fox (6) slaps the tag on the Oneonta State base stealer but the runner is called safe. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oneonta State Red Dragons in SUNYAC conference play. The Red Dragons would take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Cardinals would come back in the bottom of the inning with a pair of runs helped by an RBI double by Billy Romatabus to make 2-1. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 3-1 on an RBI single by Frank Finkbeiner. The Red Dragons would add a run in the third to make it 3-2. Then in the sixth the Red Dragons would add three runs and take a 5-3 lead. That would end the scoring on the day and the Cardinals would fall 5-3 and drop to 4-26 on the season.
