Peru's John Gallo (8) with the interception on the ball thrown into double coverage. It would be week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and we would have the Saranac Chiefs playing host to the Peru Indians. The Saranac Chiefs would jump out to the 6-0 lead on a 19 yard run from Sean Ahern at the 9:36 mark of the first. The Peru Indians would come right back down the field and scored to tie the game at six on the long touchdown pass Evan Palmer. The Indians would take the 9-6 lead 2:23 into the second quarter on a 26-yard field goal and that's where the game would be at for halftime. At the 9:37 mark of the third quarter, the Indians would extend there lead to 15-6 on the touchdown pass. Then nearing the end of the third quarter the Indians would grab a pick 6 to make it 22-6 going to the last quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Indians would score again this time John Gallo to secure the 29-6 victory. In the winning effort, the Indians go to 3-3 while the Chiefs fall to 0-6 on the season.
