It would not start off good for the host Cardinals as they would give up two goals in the first period and trail 2-0. In the second period both offenses would come alive as the Cobbers would score twice and the Cardinals would get three goals two from Cole Stallard and another from Jesse Neher to make it 4-3 Cobbers after two. In the third period both defenses would step and there would be no scoring as the Cardinals fall 4-3. In the losing effort Brady Rouleau would stop 16 as the Cardinals fall to 3-3 on the season.
