In the second period, the Eagles would break the game open as they would score four times from Christian Wawrzynski (twice), Josh McCauley, and Nathan Hebret to lead 6-0. In the third period, the Eagles would add two more for the icing on the cake from Kade Collins, and Kaden Kowalasaki to secure the 8-0 victory.
